The great and the meh

The reception and housekeeping staff were absolute gems, always friendly and helpful! ! I appreciated the cozy room with perfect heating and fully functional appliances.

Unfortunately, noise issues from other guests disturbed my experience, and I wish I'd been informed about the elevator during check-in.

It was just an optimal selection for a fleeting trip in Rolling Meadows with best value. The staff was a bit rude during check-in, but the bed was surprisingly comfortable. If you're sensitive to noise, maybe bring earplugs.

The location is convenient and off the freeway. The blankets had holes and the bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. Friendly staff helped with a room change. Affordable rates, but definitely needs more attention to cleanliness.

I really liked how close the hotel was to the Coquelicot Gallery and Cafe, just a bit less than 2 km away, making it easy for me to grab a bite before heading out for a long day of exploring, and also, the Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center was only about 2.5 km away, offering a wonderful venue for catching some local shows, perfect for my weekend strolls through the city. I enjoyed the comfortable Queen Room, which was nice for a solo traveler, but there were moments when I wished the check-in process had been smoother, as it felt a bit disorganized at times.

The staff seemed eager to help, and when I got locked outta my room, they were quick to get me another card – no questions asked.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain but it wasn't bad either.

The parking lot offers a decent amount of space, probably enough to accommodate larger vehicles, which is handy for road trippers like myself. The Wi-Fi connection managed to hold up well during my stay, allowing me to check in on the latest happenings from the galaxy.

The entire atmosphere felt a bit shady, with a pest warning sign that gave me pause. My room had a lingering odor, suggesting someone had been smoking in there recently, which isn’t exactly my idea of comfort. The walls seemed a bit thin. I could hear noises from other rooms, including footsteps above me in the early hours, which disrupted my sleep. Moreover, the unexpected deposit fee caught me off-guard during check-in—it would have been nice to know about that in advance.

Room was clean and updated, with a microwave and fridge that worked great. Spacious with air conditioning, cable channels, and nice shower. Staff checked in after I got there, which felt personal. The elevator was a nice surprise, but wish they told us about it when we checked in. Really cozy vibe.
